More Than Just Scholarships Have Helped the School

Since it was organized, the Foundation has contributed in many ways to Martin Luther King Elementary School, supplementing school district dollars to enrich the school facility and programs enjoyed by the children. Contributions have included such things as a color copier, several television and VCR sets, funds for recreational programs, whiteboards, library books, etc.

Now that the school has closed, we remain committed to providing educational opportunities for former MLK students. We are also considering expanding scholarship opportunities to schools with similar populations.
